4th Annual Oklahoma
Apostolic Homeschool Conference

"Their Hearts In Our Hands"

Bible instruction, support and guidance for newbie's and experienced homeschoolers. Have questions? Need advice? Be a part of a network of Holy Ghost filled families as we strive to train up our children in the Truth.

Keynote Speaker:

Bro. & Sis. Steve Ryerson

A graduate of The Ohio State University in social studies and English education, Bro. Ryerson taught in both public and Christian schools. He was also a Christian school principal. During the 17 years Bro. Ryerson was in the field of education, he also worked in various capacities in churches including pastor's assistant, Sunday school teacher, bus minister, and maintenance supervisor. The Ryersons moved to Findlay, Ohio where he pastored for 9 years. They relocated to western Kentucky in 2007. Bro. Ryerson is now a marketing associate for Wisdom's Gate.

Sis. Ryerson graduated from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio with a degree in music. She has played piano, organ, and keyboard for church services. In addition, she has worked with various choirs, ensembles, and soloists. With her training as a classical pianist, Sis. Ryerson teaches private piano lessons in their home.

Bro. & Sis. Ryerson are regular writers for The Home School Digest, a Quarterly Journal for Family Discipleship, and Sis. Ryerson also writes for An Encouraging Word, a ladies' magazine, both published by Wisdom's Gate in Covert, Michigan. For seven years, they wrote and published a newsletter teaching important elements of family life.

Bro. & Sis. Ryerson have two fine adult sons, Tom and David, one delightful daughter-in-law, Julie (David's wife), and two absolutely precious grandsons: Scott, who is 2 1/2 years old, and his baby brother, Nathan, who just arrived December 30, 2009.

The Ryersons enjoy walking and riding bicycles. Both are avid readers, especially Bible study and non-fiction that draw them closer to God. Sis. Ryerson also enjoys playing piano, writing, cooking, and sewing. Currently, anything that resembles spare time finds Bro. Ryerson working to fix up their home in the country west of Murray, Kentucky.
